1. Introduction
Welcome to Sip with JoJo ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website (SipwithJoJo.com) and your purchase of, participation in, and engagement with our courses, workshops, events, custom tea blending services, and all physical tea products (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing our website or utilizing our Services, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access our website or use our Services.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms at our sole discretion. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of our website or Services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the exclusive property of Sip with JoJo or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.
The complete curriculum, materials (digital and physical), and any proprietary tea blending methodologies disclosed during our courses, workshops, and events are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You are expressly prohibited from recording, reproducing, distributing, publicly performing, or creating derivative works from our copyrighted materials without our prior written consent.
Any custom tea blend recipe developed by Sip with JoJo remains our sole and confidential intellectual property. While the final physical tea product is for the client's personal use, the underlying recipe, composition, and creation methodology are proprietary and must not be replicated for commercial purposes.
3. Courses, Workshops & Events
3.1. Booking & Payment: A reservation for any course, workshop, or event is considered confirmed only upon our receipt of full payment through our designated payment channels.
3.2. Cancellation by You:
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the scheduled start date will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled start date are non-refundable.
3.3. Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course, workshop, or event due to low enrollment, facilitator unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, you will be notified promptly and offered a full refund or the option to transfer your registration to a future, comparable session.
3.4. Conduct: We are committed to providing a respectful and collaborative learning environment. We reserve the right to refuse entry or request any participant to leave without entitlement to a refund for disruptive or inappropriate behavior.
4. Custom Tea Blending Services
4.1. Consultation & Process: Our custom service begins with an in-depth consultation to understand your preferences and objectives. This is followed by the creation of sample blends, one or more revision rounds based on your feedback, and final production upon your approval.
4.2. Quotations & Payment: A formal quotation, including the project scope and estimated timeline, will be provided after the initial consultation. This quote is valid for 30 days. A 50% deposit is required to initiate the sample development phase. The remaining balance is due in full before the shipment of the final product.
4.3. Confidentiality: We treat all client information and custom project details as strictly confidential. For specific commercial projects, a separate Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) may be executed.
4.4. Final Sale: Due to the bespoke nature of this service, all sales of custom blends are final and non-refundable once the final product has been approved and shipped.
4.5. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): All custom blending projects are subject to a Minimum Order Quantity, which will be clearly stated in your quotation.
5. Tea & Physical Products
5.1. Product Descriptions: We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, including tea origin, cultivar, and processing methods, are accurate. However, as natural agricultural products, teas may exhibit slight variations in appearance, aroma, and taste between batches, which are not considered defects.
5.2. Return & Refund Policy: We guarantee the quality of our products. If you receive a product that is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receipt to arrange for a return or exchange. Due to the consumable nature of tea, we cannot accept returns on opened packages unless the product is determined to be faulty.
5.3. Storage & Care: Upon delivery, the customer assumes full responsibility for the proper storage of the tea. To preserve its quality, tea must be stored in a cool, dry, and odor-free environment, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Sip with JoJo is not liable for any degradation in quality resulting from improper storage after delivery.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sip with JoJo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to, use of, or inability to access or use our Services.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to your use of our Services shall not exceed the total amount of fees paid by you to us for the specific Service from which the claim arose.
The information provided through our Services, including on our website and in our courses, is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended as medical or healthcare advice. You should always consult with a qualified healthcare professional regarding any health-related concerns. Sip with JoJo shall not be held liable for any adverse health effects or issues resulting from the consumption of our teas or the application of information learned through our Services.
